Get ready to bake, bottle, and battle it out for glory at the La Pine Frontier Days Apple Pie Contest!
On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, bring your best creation to the Midway (check-in 10:00am–11:30am) and let the judges decide who reigns supreme. Whether it’s a golden-crusted Baked masterpiece or your secret Bottled recipe (yes, we’re talking apple pie in a bottle—think deliciously creative!), this is your chance to wow the crowd with hometown flavor.
Judging kicks off promptly at NOON, followed by the PUBLIC TASTING at 1:00 PM—so everyone gets a slice (or a sip) of the action!
It’s the perfect way to kick off our 50th Anniversary (1976–2026) and America’s big 250th with sugar, spice, and everything nice. Families, bakers, and pie lovers of all ages are welcome—grab your apron, dust off that family recipe, and let’s see whose pie is the apple of the judges’ eye!
Deadline to enter: Tuesday, June 30 by 5:00 PM (drop off your application at the La Pine Chamber office or call 541-536-7821).
So dust off those rolling pins and corkscrews… the only thing better than one great apple pie is a whole Midway full of them!
